Adrian Mediavilla first discussed brands when, at age 11, he sent a letter to the local newspaper in Santander to criticize a campaign for SprinGo, a new soda brand that had just been released by the Coca-Cola Company in Spain. Adrian started his career in Madrid, then spent six years in Paris working on international accounts at Publicis Worldwide, Duke Razorfish and Saatchi & Saatchi. He then joined the legendary Saatchi & Saatchi office in Londonwhere he was in charge of the Toyota Hybrid account across Europe. Eventually, Adrian was hired by Viacom to work as marketing director for MTV, Paramount Channel, and other global entertainment properties. Later, Adrian joined the boutique creative agency Señora Rushmore in Madrid, as Head of Planning, working for famous brands like Vodafone, Coca-Cola or MINI. Lately, Adrian was Chief Strategy Office at GREY, working for brands like Domino’s Pizza, Volvo and Nike. In 2020, Adrian became a founding member and Chief Strategy Officer at Slap Global. On top of his advertising work, Adrian writes for different publications like Spain’s PAPEL, Jotdown or Libero magazines and has been a guest lecturer in the London Business School, Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Miami Ad School as well as a keynote speaker at Brand Week in Istanbul.
